Corporate Giving

If your company has a strong commitment to realizing an equitable, just, and sustainable world, Green Empowerment can help you. Your generous corporate gift will fund renewable energy and water projects in developing countries and help thousands of people. Your support will also facilitate outreach events and help further develop our programs with major universities to compliment the delivery of renewable energy and water.

Green Empowerment offers a variety of opportunities for your company to get involved and we will work with you to customize a sponsorship to meet your budget and philanthropic goals. We want to collaborate with you and here’s a sampling of what has been contributed in the past:

• Grants to adopt specific projects: Learn more about our "Palette of Projects"

• Sponsorship of a fund-raising event or technical training
• Sponsorship of a collaboration with a college/university, professional organization, civic group, or congregation
• Fellowships for individuals to Intern in Portland or serve within our network of International NGO partners

Green Empowerment offers a number of opportunities for you to increase your visibility in the community. We will announce your support at outreach events as a corporate sponsor -- or on communications such as our website, newsletters, and annual report. We will provide you with progress reports, photos, and human interest stories that convey how your support has been put to meaningful use. In turn, you can use these materials to more effectively communicate your philanthropic efforts to your customers and shareholders. In addition, we encourage you to send key staff to participate in our Community Connection Tours and Technical Trainings so they can use examples from their personal experiences to speak positively about your company’s role in alleviating poverty, improving health, and restoring watersheds throughout the world.
