Aaron started his adventure with Green Empowerment more than five years ago as an intern in Nicaragua working with our longtime partner AsoFenix. It was during that time that his passion for our mission took root, and since then his commitment to our projects, partners and organization has helped us grow both internationally and as a leader in our Portland community.His tireless efforts to connect the various actors in the Oregon international development community began with the establishment of Development Drinks, an ongoing monthly networking event in Portland and culminated with the successful launch of GlobalPDX last week.Over the last 5 years, Aaron rose through the ranks to the position of Technical Director. He has represented Green Empowerment in over a dozen countries, and has provided invaluable support to renewable energy, clean water, and other community development projects with our partners across the globe. We will not only miss his technical expertise, but also his jack-of-all trades skills in the office and the enlightenment we receive from his random trivia. Thanks for everything, Aaron!
